What we
do with data.

A short, honest version while we are pre-launch. Legal review comes before payments do.

Status of this page

CloudValet is pre-launch and this page is a plain statement of how we work today, written by the founders. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and we will replace it with a reviewed policy before we take payment or handle production workloads.

If you need contractual terms sooner, email hello@cloudvalet.io and we will work through them with you directly.

What we collect from this website

When you send a message, book a demo, request a quote or ask for early access, we receive the details you type: your name, work email, company, and whatever you tell us about your cloud. That reaches our inbox and is used to reply to you.

We keep those messages so we can remember conversations. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to advertising networks.

What we read in your cloud account

Early access accounts connect a read only role. CloudValet reads resource inventory, utilisation, cost and usage data, and IAM configuration. It does not read the contents of your databases, storage buckets, application data or logs.

Rights to start and stop resources are a separate role you add later, and only for the resources you nominate.

Where data lives

Account metadata and the settings you configure are stored on infrastructure we operate. Credentials are never stored in plain text, and access is limited to the two founding engineers.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your enquiry or your connected account data and we will do it, then confirm. Disconnecting the role removes our ability to read anything further from your cloud.
