- What does CloudValet actually do?
- Two things. It parks non-production cloud resources on a schedule so they stop billing when nobody is using them, and it reads your IAM permissions so you can see who can do what, in plain English.

- Which clouds do you support?
- AWS first, with Azure and Google Cloud following. If you run several accounts, subscriptions or projects, they roll up into one view.

- Will parking break my environments?
- Parking applies only to the resources you choose, on schedules you set, and any resource can be started on demand with one click. Production is excluded unless you deliberately include it.

- How much access do you need?
- You start read only. We inventory resources, costs and permissions without changing anything. Start and stop rights are a separate, narrower role you add when you are ready to let CloudValet act.

- How much can we expect to save?
- It depends on how much of your estate is non-production, so we will not put a number on your bill before we have seen it. Turning off a development environment outside working hours removes roughly two thirds of its running hours.

- Do you need our billing data?
- Read access to cost and usage reporting makes the savings numbers accurate. Without it CloudValet still parks resources, it just estimates prices from public rate cards.

- How is this different from a tagging policy or a cron job?
- Scripts drift and nobody owns them. CloudValet keeps the schedule, the exceptions, the audit trail and the savings report in one place, across accounts, with the reasons visible.

- Is CloudValet available today?
- We are pre-launch and onboarding early accounts by hand. Book a demo or request access and you talk to the engineers building it, not a sales queue.

- What does it cost?
- There is a free tier for small estates, a per-resource pro tier, and enterprise pricing for larger or regulated environments. The pricing page has the current shape and a calculator.

- Who is behind it?
- Duke and David, two ex-FAANG engineers. One came from AWS, the other from Microsoft and Expedia. Cloud optimisation is the thing we genuinely enjoy.
